Like Quick for other Videos?

Does anyone use other programs which is similar to GoPro Quick, I just need something very simple for adding, editing or combing videos, for some reason i just dont like iMovie. GoPro Quick is good, but I can only use it for GoPro.

Quicktime has some limited capabilities, but I suspect it's not all the capabilities or UIs you're looking for. Resolve is free, but heavyweight. Premier Elements costs $$, but may be what you're looking for.
