Likely a dumb question about the Imac 1TB Seagate replacement program

I've got a genius bar appointment set up for this coming Friday April 12th to get the Seagate drive replaced in my 2009 iMac. I just saw that the replacement program (in Canada) ends that very same day, on April 12.

Will Apple still be accepting machines for the HDD replacement on the 12th or will the program have ended that morning?

Apple is usually forgiving about giving you a few days leniency.

Cool. I too would assume that it means end of that business day. I'll let you know if it doesn't!

If you called them prior to the deadline for the replacement program, even if they scheduled your replacement after that date, it should be covered.

I think the deadline is for taking contact with Apple and report you have a faulty drive, not a deadline for getting it done per se.
