If they think that people are likely to believe that it's real, it makes perfect sense to have a post laying out why it's most likely fake.

Going to laugh if the bezel actually remains the same size.

What is the problem with the bezels of the iPhone? I think that the bezels, along with the round home button, are a distinguishing feature of the iPhone. The ONLY reason that I can see to reduce the bezel size is if the 5.5" iPhone IS real and it needs to be made smaller to fit in pockets.

No. Just no. Here we are again with Myriad Pro Regular. The iPhone 5s uses Myriad Pro Light. Also, Apple would NEVER put the lock screen on the box because it shows an actual date. That dates the product right out of the gate. Why is this even posted??

Since we're all nitpicking...Apple uses Myriad Set not Myriad Pro. :)

And yeah, this is an obvious fake.

Totally submitting one of these for the iPhone 6S to get published for lolz.

And making a crazy-addictive app like Flappy Bird to get on MacRumours.

wheres all the colour? it looks like ****. No detail. No effort. Thank **** apple isn't designing the world as all the flowers would loose their brilliance and awe. Johhny Ive would strip them bare and we'd live in match stick land

*yes I know this is a rumour but still it looks very much like apples new direction of an operating system after WWIII hits it

Guys, the back was leaked too!

Also the phone doesn't look like it it aligned correctly on the card in either view. The edge of the phone is not parrallel with the edge of the card itself. Very sloppy.

what you talking about, thats how my iPhone 5s looks on the box, wonky. Yes I was so disappointed.

bezels are too big

Yup. I love these...

If that was the actual insert packaging, they would've wrote: '> slide to unlock' not '>Slide to unlock' with a capital S at the beginning!!!

Well... I know it may sound picky... but that's what I think guys!

You meant "would've written": slide to unlock?

----------

Lets see what I can come up with for this obviously fake insert.

As MacRumors points out. It should read...

1. "Ring/Silent Switch" not "Ring Silent switch".

2. "Home Button/Touch ID Sensor" not "Home button Touch ID sensor".

Other findings...

3. It should also read "Tuesday, September 9" not "Tuesday September 9".

4. No color.

5. No headphone jack.

6. No speakers.

7. No proximity sensor.

8. No front camera.

9. Is it just me or does the graphic look slightly diagonal?

10. 'iPhone 6" brand name font is thicker than previous used font.

11. Clock font does not match font used on iOS 7 or 8.

12. Bonus Point: I have all the original package and its contents from when I purchased my iPhone 5 in 2012. The iPhone 5 box does not include a insert. Instead the demonstration graphic is a inside the Quick Start Guide booklet. I doubt Apple would go the route of including more paper that most won't read for more than a few short minutes before ending in the trash if not required.

No space before and after "/": Sleep/Wake button, not Sleep / Wake button.
