When he had the 3G(which he lost, now he is back to his old 2G), he accidentally upgraded firmware, luckily I only needed to re-JL the phone. When his 3.1.3 comes out he better now accidentally upgrade again like some of you jackasses. :p no offense.. :)

You beat me too it I will add this Twitter too. If anybody here is trying to email pm or call Hotz or Dev-team thinking you can get a early jb or pressure them to release a jb/ul all your gonna do is piss them off and delay it more.

What's the news on a 4.0 beta 2 jailbreak? It has been very quite... I would think it would not be too had considering beta 1 was jailbroken.
 
We don't actually know what jb he's talking about in in his twitter, could be the iPad. And aren't there multiple (legit) groups with viable exploits? I would never in a zillion years bug, email or Twitter these people, possibly because I don't have a retarded sense of entitlement, but I had the sense there were several being staged for various releases.

I'm as anxious as anyone, being stuck with retail-box 3.1.3, but summer will be here soon anyway. I suppose I'd rather they get their ducks in a row for 4.0 than worry about backwards compatibility. And yes, it pains me to type that but its only reasonable.

I have been fallowing Hotz and Musselnerd among others and I honestly think they are getting sick of people whining for jailbreaks all the time. Also getting heat about bugs they said over and over are not there fault IE Hotz and the WiFi problems he looked at the exploit over and over he he says 100% the bug is not his fault. Hotz especially seems just Annoyed. he is a College Student that want's to be a college student before a hacker. just my guess we won't see any JB's released till after 4.0 is officially released Ipad,Touch or Iphone people just need to deal. if you upgraded and can't downgrade it's your fault not theirs. if you bought a Iphone with 3.1.3 on it again not there fault it's just life.

also there is a difference between finding exploits and releasing stable software.

Cool down man. I understand it was my fault, and if I was in college I too would be working on school work rather than some JB and distributing it.

Of course it isn't their fault, but I sure hope they'll come up with a solution! My father's new 3GS is a sitting duck! :eek:
 
I must say the "imagination" of some posters here is running at full speed (like lemmings running off a cliff).

Step one --> The world discovers Geo has registered a couple of different domain names (nothing real out of line here, the boy is very clever and just thinking ahead)

Step two --> (here is where the imagination kicks in) some posters assume Geo is on the verge of an imminent jailbreak release

Step three --> (imagination goes into hyper-drive) some posters assume Geo is on the verge of an imminent unlock release in addition to a jailbreak release

Step four --> this house of cards collapses (as the lemmings throw themselves over the cliff) recent GeoHot tweets bring them back to reality. :cool:

Step 5 --> reality is starting to kick back in again, and everything goes back to normal.

Isn't the site a fake, Geohotz confirmed this by saying that everyone had his address and they could use it for anything. Limera1n is a fake apparently. Spirit jailbreak, I'm waiting for you.
 
who knows whats real or fake anymore......it is what it is..i am not waiting for anything I have a 3gs old bootroom on 3.1.2 thats unlocked so when ever a new unlock or jailbreak comes it comes

Where can we get an update for this Spirit Jailbreak? Does this guy have a blog site?
