Geohot owns limera1n. It's not a ad-revenue-seeking scam site. If Geohot does create a end-user version of his 4.0 jailbreak, that's what it will probably be called.
For the record, he owns chocolatera1n, too.
Damn...I would think you'd have to be....BE NICE....insane...to download and install something like this! Like buying meat at a garage sale!
Do yourself a favor...and stick with a reputable source like the Dev-Team....
oh simple, it's a hacker thing! all hackers use numbers in place of letters! like 1337 for leet.
of you go onto xbox 360 live leaderboard, you'll see all the hacker have 1337 as their scores. short for elite i guess.

My check the dates on the videos too April-May some even before. orehaps Geohot was going to use Limera1n then Switched to BlackRa1n at the last minute. and he own allot of domains. At this point if it came out I still wait for the Dev-Team I think Geohot rushes stuff out plus I don't need to be involved in his ego.

I would be laughing my ass off if I were geohot. The ability for him to inspire and control the crowd-mentality is just amazing.
He has his little friend (or probably even him) post something about it ra1ning. All of the sudden the iPhone world explodes with guesses and anticipation. Heck, he is probably applying for a job somewhere and saying "Hey, look what I can do".
I can't even imagine the analytics stats for that limera1n.com, considering that's really all that domain is doing right now besides serving out an image of a green raindrop.
