Limera1n VS Greenpoision (poll)

That's not what I said obviously if you are jb on 4.0 or 4.0.1 you are going to gain features by upgrading and jb at 4.1. I was saying if you are already at 4.1 jb with Limerain there is no need to rejailbreak with greenpoison as you will not gain anything.

Ah....that wasn't clear when I first read your post. Now that I understand the context, yes, what you wrote makes more sense. But, there may be issues with Limera1n that Greenpois0n may not have. This is one of the reasons why I am waiting for a while before I upgrade to iOS 4.1.

Yes obviously each tool may have bugs the other doesn't but if you are jb now with no issues there is no need to rejailbreak when gp comes out that's all I was saying.

And people can try to jb with limerain if it doesn't work just restore and jb when gp comes out. You won't lose anything and might just get ur jb earlier

My problem with using limera1n is if it messes up and I have to restore then I will have to wait to jb again. And after your jailbroken you just can't go back to a stock iPhone, or at least I can't.

So I guess I'll wait for gp.

I'm sticking with 4.0 too. I'm more concerned about the cydia apps that might not work with 4.1 than I am with any limera1n issues. It would be nice to have the HDR camera, but other than that, I'll wait for 4.2 and it's JB.

I got sick of waiting and did Limera1n today. Worked flawlessly.

Been dealing with the glitchy 4.0.1 prox sensor for so long that once the RC1 was released this morning I jumped. Everything seems smoother than before actually, and all my Cydia apps are working flawlessly.

Overall it seems a bit snappier but that could just be a placebo effect.

limera1n works for me. I don't give a crap about all the politics, I use what works.
