If u just want to save files, u can download ''Downloads Lite''
U just search at it on app store ^^

on safari you can right click and save linked file as... dont have an iphone so im not sure if this would work, but you can always download the files at home and then sync to the iphone.

Well you could have just paid the one time fee of limewire pro and since you paid for it, technically, your not downloading illegally

To clarify: neither Limewire nor Limewire Pro themselves are illegal software; it is illegal to download copyrighted materials using them. Limewire can be used legally to share public domain software and media to which the sharer owns the copyright.

I have a app on my Nexus called iMusic which lets you download music for free. I wish there was something like that for the iPhone (obviously a Jailbreak app).

i found this site that can help with any limera1n download and install issues hope i helps as much as it helped me, for instance when you download the limera1n app the firstime after jailobreaking, you will notice a white app logo with no limera1n logo, then it will work but when you install cydia you have the same white logo for cydia app leaving it unable to open, by installing cydia over the old install without uninstalling the first install will solve the issue, read the link below for help.
