I don't think people should be allowed to make an app to run on a p2p network. You realise the main source of law suits involving copyright infringement and music/film downloads is down to p2p networks?

For someone to say that there are legal things on p2p is laughable.
I wouldn't condone anyone made a p2p application for the iPhone for this very reason.
Regardless of this, torrentula (or w/e its called lol) can be used for legal purposes as you will find many sites that use torrents as a means for distributing things such as Operating systems.

Rant over, but sorry i hope they never make limewire for iPhone!

You realize that there have not been any lawsuits involving copyright infringement over P2P networks in 2009 because they gave up on it. The average lawsuit was netting them a whopping..negative $5,000 after legal expenses.

Downloading and sharing music will be legal soon enough anyways. Just ask Larry Lessig.

I had mew seek pro but there wasnt a very good selection! if Limewire could do the same thing (transfer songs to ipod directly) it would be HUGE. Idk why they dont! if your a developer make this happen! lets all write emails to limewhere saying they need to make a JB app for us!!!!!😀😀😀😀😀😀

Just use limewire on your computer and then put the songs on your phone.
Don't even need a jailbreak phone.

seriously if you want limewire so bad get a $30 cheapass seedbox and install limewire on it, then use JaaduRDP from the appstore to control it, and some jailbreak FTP program to TRANSFER THE FILES DIRECTLY TO THE MODDAFOOKING IPHONE w0000t!! as the 12yrold would have put it.

the reason it hasnt been made is that THERE IS NO NEED! when the above method works BETTER and FASTER.
