    Hello, I'm new here :D

I'm embarrassed to admit that I've joined the millions who dropped their precious iPhone 3GS down the toilet  . I've dried it out in rice (5 days), restored it, and it's now working fine for making phone calls etc. The problem is that it now doesn't seem to update anything 'online' - email, Facebook, weather forecasts, news etc? It say's connecting but never seems to get anywhere.

Has anyone got any suggestions or have I killed it?

    Hope somebody can help, thanks

    You killed it.
Nothing much you can do with water damaged electronics than get the parts replaced or the phone replaced.

    Call quality seems fine.

Is it a new phone or nothing then?

    Thanks for the replies

Not if you already turned it on.

Restoring again? Anything? Or should I just give up and admit defeat?
