Is there a limit to the number of photos you can show in a slideshow (maybe limited by storage on the Apple TV)?

I have, for example, an album of 2400 photos. When I try to play it as a slideshow it won't play the entire album regardless of settings.

TIA.

I'm using ATV Screensaver with Homesharing turned on. I have an Album in Photos used for the screensaver with over 2000 photos. Apple TV is set to use that album in HomeSharing thats on my iMac M3 and it's using all over 100 photos as far as I can tell. I don't see it repeating or just limiting itself to 100 photos.
