Line in the same as auxiliary in?

    Pretty simple.. Is the input jack (next to headphone out jack) an auxiliary input? Or is that something different? I've only known it as a Line in jack.

    Auxiliary means 'supplementary'. They usually call it that on devices which have more than 1 audio input such as TVs/Amps/Receivers and the like.
