line of arm based macs imminent?

    A few years ago, I'd say it was a boneheaded move - the Intel switch made a lot of Windows users consider a Mac - but with the waning support/popularity of Boot Camp and the general decline in PCs in general, I'm not sure if Apple cares about alienating customers/developers as much as they used to.

    They've done it before. They may full well want full control of their CPU/GPUs... but if anyone expects MORE power I'd suspect they will be disappointed. Apple will prioritize size and heat/power consumption over performance, all in the quest for ever thinner laptops.

    As long as its a fully blown desktop OS, and fully compatibility with x64 apps, I'm fine with it.

    Boot Camp sure made switching easier, but, like Brien states, I don't think that is so much of an issue now.
    Or, maybe you can run Windows 10 on ARM anyway.
