I noticed something strange on my iPhone X last night.

When I open the settings app a line briefly appears along the left side of the screen before the actual app opens. I have tried this on my wife’s and employees phone and it does not do it for them. Right now everything else is working fine and it doesn’t seem to be causing a lasting issue but still curious if anyone else has seen this.

Please note this only happens if you are opening Settings fresh, not if you already have it open in the background.

I am attaching 2 screenshots that show it on a blank screen when the app is first starting to open and then the like once the settings app fully opens (though it does disappear right away).

Thank you!

I have had horrible luck with phones in the past and don't want to get stuck in the replace-cycle that seems to never end. Right now I am just documenting and if it gets worse or starts to bother me I will take it in. I am sure they will ask me to reset as a new phone first to see if its software and it takes so long to re-sync everything so avoiding doing this for now as well.

Just curious if anyone else is able to replicate this.
