How come there isn't a lot of piedmont/charlotte talk? It seems like Raleigh/Durham gets most of the love on here!

I was tempted to drive by the Apple Store near the Friendly Center in Greensboro tonight to see what it looked like, but I decided against it.

I've heard nothing but bad things about Crabtree and Southpoint always seems to be ridiculous, how does Friendly compare?

I'm headed to Northlake Mall later in the afternoon... but just picking up my iPhone. No clue what the lines are going to look like in the morning...

I just found out Verizon early upgraded people within the last week and my original upgrade date was 10/16 but I am now upgrade eligible already, I wish I would have known before tonight so I could be heading out tonight.

I drove by the Apple Store at Friendly Center in Greensboro tonight, twice, once around 6:30 and then again at about 9. At 6:30, there were probably 15 people in line. At 9:00, there were, I would guess, probably 40-50 people. Boy, am I glad I pre-ordered! I'll probably swing by the Apple Store tomorrow once I've gotten my 6 in the mail, just to hold the 6 Plus and mess around with it! Might even pick up a case while I'm there.

Probably because you have duke, UNC, nc state, NCCU, Campbell, Meredith universities all close together. Students have time and parents money to worry about iPhones. Plus you have a sizeable tech industry and an overall affluent population. So, just generalizing it would seem like these people would be more into forums etc.

Hows it going at Crabtree and Southpoint?

Went by my local ATT-WS store and about 20 people in line, looks like they were there all night. The Sprint store about 50 yards away had 1 person in line.
