It seems like many stores in LA are always low or have zero on inventory for link bracelets.

Is it because the stores don't really bother stocking it? I know $450 or $550 is pretty steep for a watch band, but I really like the look of the link bracelet.

I've got a space black one for my SB watch and I'm thinking of getting a silver one for my SS watch too.

Yes yes, I know, first world problems.....

I own both the black and regular stainless link. With the scarcity of the link band as is, possibly due to un-popularity with price point. Also, I think the link bands are more widely available on Apple.com versus in the store. That's where I ordered mine.

I don't think its the price point personally, I think its an ugly design and very 80's.

I prefer a regular link bracelet like I have on my Rolex's for example so grabbed one from Monowear.

I think my favorite thing about the stainless steel link bracelet for the Apple Watch, is how thin and elegant it is. It's also very light weight and the removal of the links is extremely efficient. It does have a dated look, which kind of gives a little bit of history in my opinion.

I have not seen one in person tbh so my opinion was only based on the pictures I have seen online. I imagine it to be very comfortable to wear though?

I find it extremely comfortable. Mine is normally hidden by my shirt cuff but in short sleeves I frequently receive comments about my "beautiful watch" versus "is that an Apple Watch" I get wearing a sport band.

Its surprising how this rather large rectangle lump of a watch can just disappear under a cuff and in my experience be completely forgotten about as it is so comfortable. More so with the Milanese band than my "other" type link bracelet and yes, the right strap completely changes the look :)

Save yourself $200-300! Buy one on eBay
Recently, I bought a brand new (still had seal and Apple cardboard shipping box) Apple Watch Series 0 Link Bracelet for $350

That's cheaper than buying the band from Apple, and you get another watch!

Can be uncomfortable putting it on in the morning though
Cold stainless steel on your wrist doesn't feel great

jamin00, which brand is that Oyster style? I might've asked before in another MR post, but I've forgotten.

The OEM Apple Watch thing Link band is very comfortable to wear. Being it so light weight, you barely can tell you're wearing it.
