I just updated to 10.9 and I have had few problems, except this one. I can't add a new internet account in the Preferences pane: if I click on any logo (Facebook, for example), nothing happens. I can edit my existing accounts just fine but not create a new one.

Any ideas? Is there a preferences file I should delete?

in user>library>preferences there is a com.apple.accountsd plist file. maybe that is the one?

I can't find it, maybe it's the problem... Activity monitor shows me the following files opened for accountsd:

Code:
/
/System/Library/Frameworks/Accounts.framework/Versions/A/Support/accountsd
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AccountsDaemon.framework/Versions/A/AccountsDaemon
/usr/lib/libspindump.dylib
/Users/lewis82/Library/Accounts/Accounts3.sqlite-shm
/usr/share/icu/icudt51l.dat
/usr/lib/dyld
/private/var/db/dyld/dyld_shared_cache_x86_64
/dev/null
/dev/null
/dev/null
count=2, state=0x2

yeah i have those as well. i think those are where the account information is stored though, which doesn't help much since you can't even link an account.

this is what it shows me for accountsd.plist which looks like it's the one that controls that pane in the system preferences
