Linking yahoo mail to my iMac mail

i'm trying to link my Yahoo email with imac mail app.I've done the add account in the internet accounts, chosen add Yahoo. It comes up with a box message saying enter the password for account Yahoo, but the box remains empty and eventually comes up with page couldn't load message. Help, beyond frustrated

Did you generate an app password in Yahoo Account Security?

Hi Bigwaff. I’ve given up! I’ve just created an iCloud email account. I know it’s going to be hassle updating all my contacts but think it’s worth it. Yahoo has limited storage. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
