Often, I want to post a link to support.apple.com in a post. I go to support.apple.com, which shows up in my native language, norwegian, copy the adress and paste it.

I like how macrumorforums display a small 'preview' of the page when just pasting a link, but I suspect these previews are showing up in norwegian which might not be that helpful to everyone. Any ideas on how to proceed with this?

Example:

you could replace the no-no part in your link
https:/ /support.apple.com/no-no/guide/mac-help/mh11422/mac
with en-en and it will link to the english version. similar de-de will link to the german one, etc..

Thanks. I did try to simply remove the /no-no part, but it seemed to not make any difference.

So - like this:

What @Slartibart said.

en-us is US English for Apple.

Link I posted earlier in the day on the site.

ADD: seem to recall that browsers will remember your previous Apple language preferences, so can get into a cycle of trying to view previous page in different language with Apple pages.

ADD2: UK English is en-gb

OP link:

Which brought up UK version for me since I went to UK site to get a link to Find My UK for language value.

If you include no language code at all (so https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/mh11422/mac in this example) then it'll go to whatever the reader's configured language is. I see the linked article in English, but I suspect it'll appear in Norwegian for you.
That's what I always thought and hoped would happen!
So I tried to remove the no-no/ part of the adress but firefox still led me to the norwegian page.

I'll try again. Adress of the norwegian page, with /no-no removed:

Well, Now it worked!
So, simply removing the language part of the adress will result in the apple page showing in your preferred language.
