Why did you decide to go with Linksys when there are more trusted and working mesh routers like Orbi and Asus ZenWifi

Now maybe. I’m not sure that was the case at the time. I bought them when the Velops were brand new to the market. Plus I needed something right away and it was available in a nearby store. It was a bit of a painful journey, but all good now and has been rock solid for me for years now.

it’s a perfect recommended thing to do. I reboot mines many more often.

I have to reboot mine weekly. I'm only using these because of HomeKit. The eero and netgear are better routers. If you don't care about HomeKit -- buy one of those.
