I have a Mac Mini and a Dell laptop with XP. I also have a Linksys Wireless-B router. I had no problems with it when I had the XP laptop and a XP desktop, but since I got the Mac Mini, problems come and go.

How do I set things to work properly? I know, in XP, there was a network configuration thing where you can input the network name and WEP code and what not. Can I do that in Tiger?

I've had the router connected with the Mini, and my laptop picks it up, but just loses the signal completely before too long.

I do have internet sharing off, but if I want to share it, I get something saying I could violate the terms if my ISP license agreement.

Tiger has the same configuration setting options. You should have seen the config options when you initially got the prompt to join the network. You should be able to enter them from the Network preference pane in the system preferences.

Not sure why you would want to do internet sharing. If both your systems connect to the router then you should be OK without switching it on. Some ISPs didn't like more than one system using their connection, but I seriously doubt any have a problem now. In any case I would ignore the warning.
