How do I set a password for my wireless airport connection on my linksys router ? I don't have any directions, threw them away apparently, just plugged it in and it's been working fine from my Imac to my MacBook but I would like to exclude neighborly free usage. I went to the Linksys website and it's all about PC's. I don't know what the original password would have been so I don't know if I could access and then change it. I heard multi-shared usage will slow down the connection. Is this true? Thanks

Have you considered going to the Linksys support site, and downloading a pdf of the manual ?????

That said, for the password, try the default, which I -think- is "admin".

You can access the Linksys router login page by using the myrouter.local and login by using password as admin and if you are getting problem in login then you can reset the router for default setting.
