My X glass screen protector is doing this too. I thought it was weird, none of my other iPhones with glass protectors have ever caught lint. I’m not sure if it’s the brand of the glass screen protector or something about the X screen which is attracting lint (like static maybe).

Flat and 2.5D protectors will get lint on the edges. With the 2.5d is harder to see. Only a true 3D protector prevents lint. Problem is only IMOS and Cinder are truly curved as far as I know.

Same to report here guys. I've had all manner of cases on my iPhone 7 Plus and also had a glass screen protector and never amassed the amounts I have with the X. As others have said, not sure if it's the screen protector, the screen itself, or the IR monitors that's grabbing all the lint. To rule out one thing, I did remove my screen protector and it did help loads but I do see little lints tho...

This is also happening with my device and it’s so annoying. Sometimes I take an eraser and try to remove some of it but it never completely goes away. Also happened with glass screen protectors on my 7 Plus :(

Does anyone else get lint stuck around the exterior of their iPhone X with a glass screen protector on?
Oddly enough, when I first got my X, (before I got the wireless charger) I went to plug it in and I couldn't because there was so much lint stuck in it. It came like that out of the box. I used the SIM pin to get all of it out but it did make me panic for a bit. Odd it came like that but I haven't had an issue since.
