I'm looking for a preferably free app similar to Winclone to backup my linux partition to a bootable image.

Might try going to the forum of your Linux Distro your running they will have more ideas on this I am sure. I run linux but never but never tried backing it up like your wanting to do so Im no help. Sorry.
