Linux Mac distributors

    i wanna try some linux OS on my G3 ibook, what distributor can i use??

    i believe there is Yellow Dog Linux too for PPC

    i checked yellow dog, but you gotta pay for it, and i can't seen to find it on torrents, is any free distributor? :apple:

    search ubuntu ppc and you will find a free disc image you can burn.

    if u have more than 256 MB RAM, try Ubuntu, otherwise, try Xubuntu

    I have to recommend Ubuntu, I am not sure about using it on a G3 but I found it ran very nicely on my G4 Powerbook.
