Hey, I'm sort of new to the MAC game....

I have an Ibook G3 Dual USB 600mhz/640mb/80gbHD

My previous Hard drive took a dump on me, I got a new Toshiba 80gb hard drive, I don't have a boot disc and they cost a little more then I'm willing to spend right now. The hard drive is completely clean.

I'm downloading Debian for PPC. I just wanted a walkthrough on how to install it. Im not looking for instructions for Dual booting (Mac OS & Linux) I just want to know how to install it as the only OS.

Im going to burn the ISO and pop it in, will a menu come up and will it install Debian onto the hard drive or are there special things I have to do?

This may sound confusing but im just as confused lol Any help will be much appreciated. Or any other forms of linux that will work well. btw I have a CD Drive, no DVD. I was going to install Ubuntu but its a 705mb file.. CD's are only 700MB :(
