I believe all of the guidance out there is “no” on dual booting, but Parallels has indicated they have a new version coming that will run on AS. The first AS announcement also referenced running Linux in virtual machines and having access to Docker.

Are you talking about X86 Linux? No, there is nothing that can do that as of now. You would be able to virtualize Linux for ARM, whatever version that is, once Parallels releases their software.
Discover Corellium’s approach to porting Linux on M1. The included tutorial also explains how to boot Linux on your M1 (Mac Mini/Pro/Air) with our Ubuntu POC.

Corellium, a security company, has released an M1 compatible Ubuntu Linux branch on their GitHub.
This page will give instructions on how to install; they only support Mac Minis at the moment, and you need a 16 GB USB drive and a USB-C to Ethernet adapter for networking (they dont say what brand) but they claim it's a full Linux implementation running natively.
Don't have an M1 yet but posted here in case someone with a Mini wants to try.
