are they working on this now what is a reasonable time frame to expect?
The GM was released recently. I'm thinking it'll be on October 12th for the release of iCloud.
They are working on it, they are probably even working on 10.7.3. A reasonable time frame would be before Christmess, and that for 10.7.3.
Lets see if I can grab the update from some dark dark place
I'd be really surprised if iCloud doesn't launch this Friday with the 4S - and they'll need to make 10.7.2 available to do that.
[Edit - read Wednesday, not Friday now they've announced iOS5 release date]
I'm thinking it will be Wed since that's when ios 5 is available for download.
Agreed, they'll be rolling out iCloud with iOS5 so they'll need OSX ready for that as well (and the various bug fixes included). So hopefully we'll see it tomorrow or wednesday at the latest.
iTunes 10.5 is another missing piece in this, but they have apparently not released a gm to developers yet. Hard to imagine the process for iOS 5 upgrade requiring a beta version of iTunes...
"Later in October" (EDIT: for iTunes Match) is frustrating isn't it.
iCloud and 10.7.2 is one package in the GM. iCloud comes out the 12th.. sooo
