Lion and ebay?

I bought Lion last week, but now I'm selling my macbook.

can I still sell it on ebay or is this illegal and promoting piracy?! The system would be brought down to nothing so when the buyer turns it on he would get the welcome screen.

Yeah you could still sell it, although they will have to have lion linked to their account to reinstall/repair/ or whatever down the road.

Completely wipe the HD (the recovery partition and all) and then do a Clean install of Lion using a USB drive or DVD. That way your account is not linked to the Lion install.
