Hello folks,

Hope you can help me with some indication because im new on mac.
I installed PGP on Windows (Bootcamp) and then on Lion but never had the chance to encrypt the drive because after the first restart, my MacBook Air faild to boot anymore. After I chose the OS in the EFI screen (Lion or Window) is displaying a blank screen with text "bootguard _".

I know that the PGP boot loader has replaced the loader in the MBR of the physical disk. This has an easy fix on Windows, bootrec /fixmbr to overwrite the MBR but again, this is a MacBook Air so I can't boot using a Windows Installatin USB drive so how can I fix this in Terminal from Lion Installation USB drive?

- first picture is the partition table
- second picture is the efi screen
- third is the error received after i chose an OS

Status update for PGP Install Fail on Mac

Good Day,

I'm having the same issue with the Mac not booting to Lion after installing PGP.

Were you able to find a solution?
