As well as a download, Apple sold for a time a USB stick with a Lion installer on it. You can probably find one on eBay if you look. Mostly, people are hawking fakes on generic thumb drives.

........and I would keep well away from any of these copies.
Only purchase a sealed one, you could be putting alsorts of crap on your machine.

Doesn’t have to be sealed and probably won’t be. The genuine Lion USB sticks are not writable. The copies are pretty obvious since IIRR only Transcend sold drives looking anything like the Apple ones and only for a brief period.

I have an original USB stick. HMU in PM and let's see what we can work out:

I need to restore my MacPro with Lion 10.7 where could I find a dvd image of lion?
You mention the word "restore" which might indicate you had it on your MacPro at an earlier date.
If that is the case then maybe you also have the installer in your App Store under "purchased".

on a related note just realized all my OS purchases are gone from the new App Store in Mojave ugh

Apple did this before, if it's not a bug with Mojave App Store past purchases list we will need to ask back again.
