Lion Install

    Ok so i have done a search for this but haven't really got an answer so i figured i would just ask it. when installing lion am i going to lose any of my files apps documents, etc when the install is complete? i hope not cause i would be losing alot. any info will help. thanks

    No, as it is just an upgrade, no personal files, settings and installed applications will be deleted. But it is advised, to do a backup before such an endeavour, as an upgrade can go (but in most cases doesn't go) wrong.

    Or don't your backup your data?

    ok so do i just simply buy and download it from the app store?
