I have Lion installed on my 2011 Macbook Pro and was trying to boot the computer from a 10.5 disk and get some kernel errors on the screen when doing so. This was booting while holding C at boot and also via the installer and reboot when in Lion. Does anyone know if this is possible? I'm trying to boot it up via the 10.5 disk so I can install 10.5 on a USB flash drive.

Thanks.

No it doesn't support 10.5, you have to use 10.6 (the grey disk it came with) or 10.7 with it. If you need to make a 10.5 boot disk you are going to need to get an older Mac that supports 10.5.
