    Hi,

I am getting really low speeds on my wifi after upgrading to lion. I am using speednet as my benchmark and when I connect windows, iphone and lion to my wireless router, here are the speeds i get (download / upload speed)

    windows : 15-16 mbps / 14 mbps
    iphone : 12 mbps / 12 mbps
    lion : 8 mbps / 12 mbps

Window computer connected directly : 35 mbps / 35 mbps

Anyone has similar issues and whats the resolution. Does reverting back to leopard help ?

    Thanks

Okie. Its becoming worse now. Currently the speed test shows 2-3 mbps download. I have already tried every thing mentioned in the forms : PRAM rese, changin dns server to 8.8.8.8 etc etc. I have decided to downgrade from lion to leopard. My mac originally came with snow leopard, so i have the disc. Is there anyway to install leopard without having to backup and restore everything ?

I finally fixed the problem. All I had to do was change channel on my router. Did all sorts of things and almost uninstalled lion. Am glad i tried out changing channel before that.

Now lion gives me 20-21 mbps download in speedtest whereas windows gives about 15 mbps.
