Lion - Keeping in memory

Goodnight everyone,

My Lion is very strange, he is keeping in memory all the hits that I do in Safari, Preview, Quicktime, VLC etc etc ...

I was using Safari until it crashed when I opened the browser again look at the case, he opened this case 44 pages I had visited the times, it is happening with the applications mentioned, does anyone know where I can change this way?
