Lion needed for iOS5 features?

Do I need lion to use icloud and the wifi sync or do I just need the new itunes update 10.5?

All you need is iTunes 10.5. iCloud and WiFi sync will work with Windows too. Well it works for me on Windows. 😛

Sweet, a few weeks ago I posted this and people said I would need Lion. Glad that I dont now!

Two different questions there

To sync iCloud between your mac and iPhone or two macs (bookmarks, contacts, photoStream, docs), your macs would currently need OSX 10.7.2 update. there's no word on an iCloud patch for OSX 10.6

For iTunes wifi sync you just need iTunes 10.5 and iOS5 on your iDevice, since that is not a part of iCloud.
For iCloud sync between iDevices, or for iCloud backup of the iDevice, they all just need iOS5

I guess, but in general, 99% of the features do not require a Mac.

As a MobilMe subscriber bookmark, address book & calendar syncing IS 99% of the features that I need from iCloud and no I don't want/can't run Lion.
