Lion not responding to Remote

Hey all

I know Lion has a few oddities when it comes to responding to the Apple remote, but lately I can't get my iMac to respond at all - this isn't just the Infrared remote, but also apps like Rowmote, it just doesn't seem to work.

Anyone got any ideas?

By any chance do you have plex installed ?

Also make sure it is paired correctly
system pref >>>> security >>>>> general
