I'm pretty new to Mac, and have a question.

What is normal procedure when Apple launch a new operating system?
Will Lion be installed from the day the launch it, on all new computers ordered from Apple's website, or what?

Thank you🙂

There are usually some models leftover with the old OS still installed, but it doesn't really matter as any computer purchased between now and the release will get a free copy anyways.

Thank you for your quick answer.
I'm about to buy a new MacBook Pro. What is normal concerning them?
If I order it after the launch, I will get a free copy, or is it normal that the install it for you?

If you're considering getting a White MacBook, i wouldn't. They're about to be refreshed with new models that come with Lion Preinstalled, as well as much better specs.

I would expect so.

I recall when my family got a mac mini right after leopard came out, they included a disk to install it later. I would imagine if you buy a mac now, Apple will give you a redeem code to get it.
