Lion recovery partition

I don't know about anyone else but I hope the Lion recovery partition is just an option and not mandatory for all Lion installs. I am working with an 80GB Intel SSD and I really do not want to give the OS another 4 gig just to have a recovery partition on my SSD.

You'll probably be able to delete it (at worst using terminal). Wether it must be installed is to be determined.

It's automatic, but you can probably delete it afterwards. It's only 800 MB though.
