Hi, I've found the link to redeeming Lion in the US on a recently purchased mac, anyone have it for the UK? Thanks.

Just FYI, most of the time you can just add UK to the URL. Like if its apple.com/support then you can just do apple.com/uk/support. This is what I did to find the UK version of the page 🙂

out of curiosity has anyone received the free download.. and is it like redeeming a code for an app, if so you can use it on other machine which will save me money on buying it for my MBP

They're the same thing.

GM Release = Gold Master release.

The code was on the confirmation receipt that came up after card verification.
