Lion safe for 32-bit EFI Mac Pros

    Correct. Also, many Core 2 Duos shipped with 32 bit EFI.

    Kind of a "no duh" situation. If even the lowest-end quad 2.0ghz MP were not supported it doesn't bode well for Apple's OS.

    All Mac Pros are supported. In any case Lion will warn users if they are using an unsupported system and won't let them install it.

    I think in any case there will be a kind of workaround. Like 10.5 which does work without problems on sub-867MHz machines, not extremely fast though.

    You can hack support in for other CPU models. But you can't hack in a 32-bit kernel unless you write one yourself. :rolleyes:
