Hi,

Finally got around to ordering the new rMBP tonight but noticed Lion is still the default OS X in the shopping cart. I had VERY bad experience updating from Tiger in the past with another machine and do not want a repeat with a machine looking to set me back $3000.

Is this an unjust fear?

Thanks,

H

I've updated 3 macs to ML today and none had a single problem.

same here. 1 MBP and 2 Mac mini's and all went as smooth as can be. I am having a very slow Time machine back up bug (first TM back up since upgrading).
But otherwise and digging everything so far.

Thanks all 🙂

I decided on the processor debate (.3 vs 6/7) and ram debate (8 v 16), just ordered rMBP 2.7, 512, 16, very happy and hope it lasts as long as my previous machine (5 years old and still going (moderately) strong!).

Cheers,

H
