I can't clean my Trash. I got 70.000 items to delete and it takes 1 second to delete 1 item.

So it will take about 70.000 seconds to clear my Trash 😱

If it is taking too long for you hit stop and empty it in terminal.

Get an SSD....clears the trash, regardless of the amount, instantly

I found what the problem was. Secure erasing was set on default which caused a very slow erasing.

I solved the problem by a regular erase which was instantaneous 😎

By default secure delete is on. Turn off under preferences.
