I just updated to iOS 26 and the App icons look fuzzy. I do not like it.

I think they were going for some kind of underwater effect but for me it’s more distracting than anything. One day we’ll look back and remember when flat designs were cool.

Honestly, I still miss iOS 6 UI.

I wish they would have brought that one back with a modern twist to it.

Are the icons from first party apps or third party? I thought I read somewhere that third party apps have to update their icons to be optimized for iOS 26.
But honestly I haven’t seen (or noticed) any blurry app icons myself. Can you give me an example of a common app that I might have?

It looks even worse on Apple Watch. Yea.. how to go back to flat UI design.

A bit startling at first but after a few days, it is back to business. Just not worth getting upset over. The alternative is Android🤮
