Hi People! As the subject of this thread is my app (yes, I'm the responsible for the Lirum App), I would like to answer to a few concerns exposed here:
- The Lirum Device Info does not temper with anything on your device - all information is obtained via Apple approved APIs. That is true to both the free and the paid version of the app - so don't worry about such things.
- All content of the App is sandboxed (as in any App in the Apple ecossystem) - so, any files and content of the App are located in one isolated place inside the iOS filesystem. Once you remove the App, none of these files remains. (But please, don't remove it

lol....). As such, (unlike on Windows), there are no remaining DLLs on your system folders, nor libraries or background services that will parasite your phone in the future.
- The App has just been updated and now it shows the CPU Information (Manufacturer) in it's own section (Menu > This Device > CPU > Manufacturer). And I have a Samsung Chip T.T....
- About memory management - indeed, the iOS mades a great job about managing the device memory. In most cases it is pointless to release it manually. The fature however is present on the app for the moments when you want to guarantee some free memory before doing something: in devices with restrained memory, if you open a large game or use some operation that uses too much memory, it may crash if the required memory is not freed in time by the OS. So, by using the "boost memory option" on Lirum Info, it will gradually allocate RAM and release it all at once, making the operation you want to do, less likely to crash.
I hope that I answered the questions properly. If you have any other questions or complaints, feel free to ask.
- This is not an advertising! I'm just defending my App here...
