risc already listed GraphicConverter, and it's the only shareware app that I've got (and paid for).
I've got and use that, but it came bundled on my PowerBook. So technically Apple paid the shareware fee for me.

Escape Velocity
Escape Velocity Override
Escape Velocity Nova
If only you'd known. I only paid for Nova and they gave me the older two free :)

I played all three when they were brand new, so unless I went forward in time.....

I guess this means I'm a shareware whore.

Delicious Library is the only OS X app that I've paid for (Shareware, anyway)....

I love the application, but still wish they would update it a little more frequently.

Quicktime (if that counts)
Candybar
AppZapper
iConquer

Ones I got for free:
iClip

I would really like Delicious Library, but at $40 its way too rich for my blood.

I'll list shareware, donations, and downloadable "commercialware". Mac shareware has always rocked for some reason, with a lot of quality, niche items at a reasonable price.

I'm sure I have more floating around that I've paid for recently or over the years, I have a tendency to pay for functional cheap shareware type apps. They are usually cheaper or close to a 12 pack of my favorite beer and the enjoyment lasts a lot longer.

Pagespinner - but I don't use it anymore.

Thinking of paying for:
Rapidweaver (been using it for several 3-page sites, so I feel like I have to)
Swift publisher (maybe together with Business Card Composer?)
Also thinking of RealBasic and maybe BlitzMax..

It's nice to see so many responses! :) And that the Mac community has developers' backs. :)

For me:

Windows: nothing, as far as I know.

Symbian: Extended Recorder, an audio recorder app from Psiloc for my old 3650

MacOS X: iRecordMusic, Sidetrack, and 1 Finger Snap

If you write a good app, support it, and sell it to me at a reasonable price. Then I will support your developing butt with all the beer money I can throw at you. :)

I personally love digitally distributed games like the ones from Ambrosia, Spiderweb, Gamehouse, Virtual Programming. Usually they are 30 bucks or under, and give you a great value for your money.

My Lordy Loo! I almost forgot one of the most important tools in my arsenal. USB Overdrive. It's so transparent I forgot about it. Worth the 20 bucks so I can use my Saitek Controller and Joystick.
