    Ok, fun list this time.

I'm buying one RIGHT NOW (as soon as I decide between a 15" and a 17" model).

    Anyone else buying now?

I'd go 15", but that's just me. I don't see much difference between the 15&17 but the price difference is fairly wide.

I ordered! It's my first Mac, and this is my last PC. I'll be gone when it gets here, so I get to come back to it!

    MBP:
    2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    MacBook Pro 15-inch Widescreen Display
    2GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
    200GB Serial ATA @ 7200 rpm
    SuperDrive 8X (DVD+/-R DL/DVD+/-RW/CD-RW)
    Backlit Keyboard/Mac OS - U.S. English
    Accessory Kit

The excitement is overwhelming. At least until it gets here. THEN it'll be overwhelming!

Slight change of plans for me! I'm not ordering till tomorrow and canceling my order I made this morning!

    Why, you ask?

Apple Employee Family & Friends Discount.

That's right. I have a friend willing to order me one with their 15% discount. It's gonna save me $300 USD and THAT is worth one day's wait!

    However, it'll still be:

    15" matte, 2.5GHz, 200GB 7200, 2GB RAM

Final price with discount and tax: $2367.07 USD.

    MBP:
    2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    MacBook Pro 15-inch Widescreen Display
    2GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
    200GB Serial ATA @ 7200 rpm
    SuperDrive 8X (DVD+/-R DL/DVD+/-RW/CD-RW)
    Backlit Keyboard/Mac OS - U.S. English
    Accessory Kit
    Logic Express

And it was upgraded from Apple to the new Penryn. They even threw in the free remote everyone's complaining about. :D

Can't wait to get on that thing and junk this windowzer.
