Just ordered one of these. Suspect of the adhesive being any good not being 3m and also on silicone, but its cheap enough to try out! Maybe I'll thread a fishing line thru it for a safety catch. Gonna try it on the underside of my bike seat.

 
I wonder if an accessory will appear that acts as the removable metal ‘lid’ in place of the current one that could potentially have a key ring attachment built into it.
 
Cheap silicone holders are already appearing on Amazon. Not sure how legit they are though...

At 1.25” they might be *just* small enough to fit on the back and allow the lid to open. Pretty clunky though, and I’m sure going in and out of a pocket would cause it to fall off regularly
 
Hoping for an Apple TV silicone case that has room for airtags as well as an AirPods case with a slot as well. The wife loses stuff all the time.
