I didn’t see this in the top post. Anyone have experience with this wall plug system?

Looks really interesting. I can’t find on the website which wireless protocol it uses though (WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Thread?). Trying to get away from WiFi devices and definitely don’t want anything Bluetooth.

I think since it uses Matter it will work in HomeKit as long as you have a Matter hub. Two things worry me about it are how well it works in Apple ecosystem and it looks like it requires data stored on their servers. I’ve had some items do this and they cut the service leaving only basic functionality. I prefer items keep the data and functionality local and am willing to give up on extended functions to keep the data local.

Oh yeah, it will definitely work in HomeKit. That’s not my concern. I just don’t want Matter over WiFi. I don’t see a separate hub so Zigbee is pretty much out of the question. If it’s Matter over Thread, then I’ll give it a look. It’s not cheap so I want to make sure I’m getting what I want before ordering. I’ll probably send a message to them asking at some point….

Added Automate Shades to the list. They work very nicely with HomeKit. Instant response when using my Pulse Hub 2 & my Rollease Acmeda Shades.

I am not shure if it fits in this thread. An esp32 flushed with tasmota, assigned to your wifi and matter enabled allows to add a lot things to apple home.
