Same here!!! So from everyone's experiences, exactly how "accurate" is this Standard Shipping 5-7 business days thing before receiving your product? Is it truly 5-7 days? I don't want to wait that long!!!

Actually...I picked the 2-3 day shipping
I figured if I was spending $3k on something...$15 was nothing Yeah, that's true... but I college budget doesn't go very far. I should have done it anyways cause I want it NOW!!! shipping was bumped to feb 20-22
i've had a replacement 2.2 MBP on order, and it originally said "ships by feb 13-15". well, it didn't ship. so i checked this morning and it says, "ships by feb 20-22". maybe that's a good sign for the new MBP's?

tuesday... but, i also sent an email to my apple rep and told her that i heard new mbp's might be coming out and i would prefer a new one rather than an older model.
I have a tracking number. It went out this past Friday from Shanghai. I'm ready! Bring it on cause my current battery on my PB is craptacular.

i don't know. apple is bending over backwards to make me happy though. this is the second replacement for defective mbp's that i've had. i've had two mbp's and about 16 repairs so far.
maybe they're just being kind to me because of all the hassle i've had.
oh, and mine's a custom order: larger hard drive.

i agree, it really makes no sense to order a 2500 dollar computer when everyone knows that it will be updated within 2 weeks and then all of the people who just got their 2 week old mbp's will have buyers remorse and ask if they can

Mine shipped out on Friday and had an estimated arrival date for Wednesday as well but I just checked the status and it's in Oakland, CA!!! So HOPEFULLY I'll get it by Monday... or Tuesday... but preferebly on Monday. I love new toys.
I'm hoping for next Tuesday, but who knows? I'm happy to give others hope. Honestly, if they give me a new MBP - and it works - I will consider it even with Apple. This has been my first experience with Mac computers, and so far it's been a little rocky, though I still wouldn't go back to PC (couldn't if i wanted to - all my software is for Macs now
)I actually ordered this one because I DON'T want the new one. I don't think I could stand it if it had that new keyboard that the Macbook and the Air have.

I got the 17" Hi-Res 2.4 with 250g hdd.
Going to order the RAM upgrade from macsales.com now that I just sold my old PC laptop
Same im having fears about the keyboard also, i think it more than likely will happen but i hope it doesnt. I think one of the things that makes the macbook pro look as good and professional as it looks is the keyboard, the curves to the keys and the fact that there arent spaces between them just makes it look more professional and better. Im going to wait until the new machine comes out and if the new one has the macbook keys ima rush to the store and buy the 2.4 current gen. Ill sacrifice a slight speed increase for the keyboard i like so much better.
