I am suprised of the capability of the MBPr on gaming.
I ran Battlefield 3 (bootcamp) 1920x1200 on Auto Setting, it got 30-40fps! UPDATE: but since it is a fast paced game, i recommend lowering the resolution.
Team Fotress 2 ran 2880x1800 and it got 30-40fps!
Skyrim Runs ultra quality on 1920x1200 and 30-40fps.
I put Counter Strike Source on 2880x1880 and everything high, it got 50+ fps.
So i was wondering how are your games fps on your MBPr?
All games I run are under Windows 8 Release Preview except TF2 and CSS.
I have 2.6/16/512 model.
Please don't list cider ports, they decrease fps and have issues.
and honestly I don't think increasing processor will barley make a difference with the game, and 8gb ram is more than enough for any game. The GT650m is a new and powerful chip, but it would've been better if apple put in the 2gb model than the 1gb.
EDIT: I recommend using a cooling pad and hiring the fan since the MBPr above 95c and can fry your chip.
EDIT 2: Here is the Cooling Pad I ordered:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002NU5V4A/ref=gno_cart_title_1
